Suraj Rao, Senior Architect at Infocepts, is a Data & Analytics architect with close to two decades of experience designing and building the systems that power enterprise data, analytics, and AI platforms. He has led global delivery teams across the full data lifecycle — from data foundations and platform modernization to semantic layers, governance, and agentic AI — and is a strong advocate for building trust into the architecture rather than bolting it on after deployment.
Throughout his career, Suraj has held architecture and solutions roles spanning data engineering, analytics modernization, and enterprise AI, working with clients across retail and other industries to turn Snowflake and modern data platforms into production-grade business outcomes. He is especially focused on the context and semantic foundations, cost governance, and agent-enablement work that the move to the agentic enterprise now demands.
Suraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering. Based in the New Jersey / New York area, he enjoys cooking and exploring different cuisines with his family.
